Welcome to our life!

Welcome to the Crazy Life of the Cardosa Family! Keith, Jill, Jared and Baby Cardosa have a lot of things going on. I thought by creating this blog the special people in our life could keep up to date. (Also, I am getting really bored sitting at home and thought this would give me something to do!)

Right now we are all waiting for our new arrival to make an appearance. (Some of us are waiting a little bit more patiently than others!) Jared is excited to be a big brother and "can't wait to tell him lots of boy stuff." There is going to be an 8 and 1/2 year age difference between the two boys which I think will be good. Jared is a great helper and already wants to "babysit" this summer. Jared is also busy finishing second grade (!) and looking forward to a busy summer of swimming lessons, baseball and Zoo Camp (his favorite). He will come and stay with us starting in July this year. It's a little later than most summers but hopefully will work out best this year.

Keith recently got transferred to the Grandville store, which we were all excited about! He gets home about an hour earlier each day and really enjoys the guys he works with. He just finished our basement so that we would have more room. He didn't know a single thing about what he was doing but through trial and error and a little advice from my dad, he did a great job!!! After that project, he started on the nursery. Again, knowing nothing about how to do the requests I had given him. It looks great and I am working on getting everything organized.

I am the one who is the most excited for this pregnancy to be done and to meet Baby Cardosa. I was just told on Monday that I couldn't work anymore due to a high risk pregnancy. It has been a rough week! I hated saying good bye to my kids and felt awful leaving them with no warning. I have already gone back to see them, though. They threw me a "surprise" shower on Friday and made the baby the most beautiful quilt. This class is full of awesome, unique kids and I will regret not completing the year with them. So, here I sit at home, bored out of my mind! I am starting to write my thesis, which is due in August, so that should keep me busy. However, you can only do so much of that each day before you go crazy!

Anyway, that is a little look into our life. I will continue to post as our crazy life gets crazier.
